Job Title: Golang Developer

Location : Mclean, VA

Job Mode : Contract

Looking for a Software Engineer (Backend) with a strong focus on Go (Golang) and AWS for Cardinal Business Unit team in the decisioning space at Capital One. The team supports applications that handle decisioning for customer interactions, with a focus on sending out correspondences and enabling customers to log into the application for self-service options.

Go (Golang) will be a primary language for backend development. The candidate will be working with React.js on the front end and deploying applications using AWS services.

Responsibilities:

Backend Development using Go (Golang).

Building and maintaining applications in a cloud-native environment with AWS.

Integrating front-end solutions using React.js.

Implementing infrastructure as code, focusing on automation. Developing and deploying microservices in the cloud.

Handling decisioning applications and enabling customer self-service mechanisms.

Working with AWS services like SNS, S3, and application load balancers.

Skills:

Exp. in Go (Golang) for backend development.

Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, or equivalent experience with Azure or Google Cloud.

Familiarity with React.js or any other front end lang.

Hands-on experience with cloud-native deployment, infrastructure as code, and automation practices.

Experience with additional AWS services like S3, SNS, load balancing, and other ecosystem tools.
