Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Epic Security Analyst to join our team in West Orange, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Epic security systems to ensure compliance, efficiency, and operational excellence. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage user accounts, troubleshoot security issues, and provide exceptional support to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of user accounts, including creation, provisioning, updates, and deactivation.
Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshoot security-related issues, and escalate problems when necessary.
Serve as the subject matter expert for Epic User Security, offering guidance and support to stakeholders.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in security operations.
Assist in evaluating new technologies, system updates, and functionality enhancements.
Develop, implement, and maintain Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) in compliance with security best practices.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on system configurations and technical settings.
Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotational basis and address competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with various teams to resolve incidents and support organizational security needs.
Stay current with industry trends and maintain required Epic certifications through ongoing education.
Requirements
Associate's degree required; a Bachelor's degree in IT is preferred (experience may substitute for the degree).
At least 2 years of experience in Epic security as an analyst, in governance, or in a support role; 5 years preferred including leadership experience.
Epic Security Certification is mandatory.
Must have Epic Data Courier Mover Badge or Data Courier Administrator certification.
Familiarity with SailPoint, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including IAM provisioning, detection, and configuration management.
Proficiency in cloud technologies, intrusion detection systems, and firewall technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
