JOB TITLE: Assistant Vice President - DB8822287
DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to design and develop scalable, distributed applications for real-time trade surveillance using Java, Spring and Apache Spark to monitor and detect market manipulation patterns including spoofing and layering. Requires a Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent and two (2) years of experience designing, developing and testing large scale distributed systems and real time data processing pipelines using Apache Spark; participating in end to end implementation of trade surveillance systems, utilizing market manipulation techniques, including spoofing, layering, and wash trading; implementing cloud-based monitoring and scaling solutions for surveillance systems to ensure uptime and performance under load conditions; utilizing CI/CD tools, including Jenkins to automate deployment pipelines in distributed systems; using Java for backend logic development; leveraging Spring Boot, Hibernate and Kafka for real time data streaming to detect anomalous trading behaviors and trigger alerts; developing and optimizing algorithms for pattern recognition and anomaly detection and to monitor network traffic for regulatory violations, service disruptions and security breaches; and architecting cloud-native solutions using AWS technologies, including EC2, S3, and CloudWatch to monitor and process network events at scale, ensuring that telecom services remain reliable and scalable. Salary range: $150,000.00 - $165,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
