Description
Our Client is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Microsoft Azure Architect with heavy experience in CI/CD, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Terraform, Azure Functions, and Azure PaaS services to join our team and ensure the resiliency, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
The Microsoft Azure Architect will lead the design, implementation, and management of Highland Homes' cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation frameworks. This role owns the "Ops" side of CI/CD to enable seamless, secure, and repeatable deployments for our application development teams. The architect will establish infrastructure-as-code practices, deploy and operationalize enterprise backup and recovery solutions, and deliver performance and cost visibility across our Azure environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
Demonstrated experience managing Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure in a leadership capacity.
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) highly desirable.
Deep knowledge of Azure PaaS components including SQL MI, Function Apps, Azure Data Lake, Entra ID Domain Services, and Azure Files.
Strong experience with IaC, MFA, SSO, IAM, and DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Solid understanding of networking, identity, and security within Azure environments.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting preferred.
Familiarity with Azure Policy and Blueprints for enforcing organization-specific requirements for compliance and governance.
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Azure Resource Manager.
Proficiency in using Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics for performance and security monitoring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and business requirements.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.
