A leading health system is looking for a well-rounded HIM analyst that is strong in coding and deficiency tracking.
Job Summary
The Sr. Epic Application Analyst is responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of Information Systems utilizing their expertise in Epic Applications. This entails intermediate to advanced analysis, design, configuration and implementation. This position is responsible for ensuring integration of technology into effective workflow and process design as well as ensuring operational efficiency of assigned Epic applications and integrated technology. Provides advanced ongoing analysis, consultation, complex problem-solving, collaboration and application support to users. Also responsible for contributing to system training. The Sr. Epic Application Analyst utilizes their knowledge and skills to function as a technical resource on Epic and assume higher level project responsibilities. This position typically reports to an ISD manager or above.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
5 years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Information Systems (MIS) or similar experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation or a combination of MIS and working knowledge of hospital operations required
Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate Information System
Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience required
Experience in supporting complex problems
Experience in assisting other Analysts
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Epic application support, development tools and methodologies
Good analytical skills and technical aptitude
Good planning and organizational skills
Good communication, collaboration and customer service skills
Demonstrated pattern of growth in ability to lead others
Experience Level
Expert Level
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
