Description
This position requires a self-motivated individual with high-energy and passion. The individual should have a personal and professional history of leadership, mentorship, intelligence, execution, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
As an SAP Project Manager and Finance Key User, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of SAP software solutions across various departments within the organization. You will need to have a solid understanding of SAP software, project management methodologies, and stakeholder management to ensure successful project delivery.
Note this role is located in our Fort Worth, Texas office.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.
- Identify and address project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to business stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure proper project documentation is developed, maintained, and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Provide guidance and support to project team members, fostering collaboration and ensuring team alignment with project goals.
- Stay up to date with SAP best practices and trends in SAP implementation methodologies to continuously improve project outcomes.
- Lead the strategic alignment of SAP project goals with the organization's overarching vision, developing comprehensive program plans that cover scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on SAP solutions and ensuring our services align with client business objectives.
- Support the Go-To-Market strategy for SAP solutions, identifying new opportunities and contributing to securing contracts to expand the organization's presence in the SAP solutions domain.
- Manage multiple SAP implementation and AMS projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion.
- Leverage your business and technical expertise to navigate SAP architecture, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of SAP s end-to-end solutions, ensuring configurations align with project and business objectives.
- Use your leadership abilities to influence project outcomes and coordinate cross-functional team efforts, ensuring adherence to project timelines. Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the integrity of the SAP program.
- Uphold UMNAs quality standards across all project outputs, aligning with program objectives.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring they are carefully assessed and approved.
- Successfully close programs by capturing lessons learned and communicating key successes to stakeholders and the wider organization.
- Become a subject matter expert in their SAP S4 HANA Module.
- Understand the overall business model of the locations assigned to them (Preparation and Kick off phases).
- Facilitate efficient use of SAP FICO and accounting processes improvement in cooperation with the main stakeholders, especially the local FICO key users and BPOs (Business Process Owners).
- Identify local needs and work with the Project Management team and local end-users to address them.
- Help to define new requirements ensuring that the process is in line with the core model.
- Train local end-users, first level of support to address end-user questions and concerns.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and demonstrated listening skills.
- A self-starter, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment and adept at multitasking.
- Exceptional analytical and project management skills
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master's degree is preferred.
- 4+ years experience in project management or related work.
- SAP or PMP certification.
- Business/operational experience
