Role: Oracle Financials EBS and Cloud Deployment Manager
Location: Atlanta GA

10+ years (with at least 5 years in Oracle Cloud ERP deployment)
Role Overview:
The Oracle Financials EBS and Cloud Deployment Manager will lead end-to-end deployment, migration, and release management for Oracle Financial applications across E-Business Suite (EBS R12.x) and Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion).
This role ensures successful transition from on-premise to cloud environments, while maintaining integrity across Financials modules, integrations, and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deployment & Release Management
- Define and execute the deployment roadmap for Oracle Financials - including EBS upgrades, Fusion Cloud implementations, and hybrid co-existence models.
- Plan and manage deployment cycles, cutover, rollback, and go-live schedules.
- Oversee release coordination across multiple financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Projects).
- Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and financial control requirements during deployments.
2. Financial System Migration & Transformation
- Lead migration strategy from Oracle EBS Financials to Oracle Cloud ERP Financials.
- Manage data migration (master data, transactional data, and historical balances).
- Collaborate with Finance and Audit teams to validate data integrity and reconciliation.
- Drive automation of migration steps using scripts or tools (e.g., OIC, FBDI, ADFdi).
3. Integration & Environment Management
- Oversee integration design between Cloud ERP, EBS, and third-party systems (e.g., Banks, Payroll, Tax, and Procurement).
- Manage environment provisioning, patching, cloning, and version upgrades.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation using Jenkins, Git, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Collaborate with Oracle DBAs and Infra teams to optimize performance and uptime.
4. Stakeholder & Program Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and Implementation partners during deployment phases.
- Conduct deployment readiness and go/no-go assessments with business leadership.
- Track issues, risks, and dependencies impacting the deployment timeline.
- Ensure smooth handover to Finance Operations and Support teams post go-live.
5. Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Establish standardized deployment governance for Oracle Financials environments.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL, change management, and release control frameworks.
- Drive automation and efficiency through process improvement and AI-assisted deployment monitoring (where applicable).
Required Skills & Experience:
Oracle Financials Expertise
- Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials (R12.1.x / R12.2.x) - GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, CE, Projects.
- Strong experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Financials - GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses, Projects, and Tax.
- Understanding of Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
- Familiarity with OIC, BI Publisher, OTBI, and FBDI-based integrations.
