Job Description
The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation s (ODOT) Information Technology ServiceNow Delivery Team and SPECIFICALLY, THE SERVICENOW PRODUCT.
This position will function as a skilled ServiceNow Developer within the Department of Information Technology. Potential projects include:
- Enhancement & maintenance of existing custom solutions
- Solutions development in the ServiceNow platform
- Service Catalog item development
- Participation in requirements and/or design review session
- Ability to design and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform that satisfy business requirements communicated in writing and/or verbally
- Ability to troubleshoot/debug issues in existing applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot/debug platform issues using the System Logs and/or debugging tools.
- Ability to use various browser-based debugging tools (ex: Chrome, IE, Firefox)
- Ability to conduct demos with client stakeholders and elicit feedback.
- Ability to work in an Agile project management environment
- Possess excellent communication skills; both oral and written skills including strong meeting and work session skills
- Proven experience in handling data conversion including but not limited to data integration (real time and batch) mapping, transformations, bulk data import/export, mass updates, cut over plan, exception handling
Required Skills:
- 6+ years ServiceNow Client and Server JavaScript coding experience (Ex: Catalog Client Script, Business Rules, Script Actions, Script Includes, UI Pages, JellyScripts, etc.)
- 6+ years ServiceNow Client and Server Scripting APIs (Ex: GlideDialogWindow, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, etc.)
- 6+ years experience building custom workflows
- 3+ years HTML/CSS/AJAX development experience
- 3+ years role/group-based ACLs configuration and debugging
- 1+ year of Service Portal development
(e.g. Widgets, Service Portal Pages, AngularJs)
Desired Skills:
- ServiceNow CSM or PSDS Experience
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ITIL V3 Foundations Certification
- UX/UI Design
