Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our Central Maintenance Special Projects team within the Power Generation Division. This role supports the successful planning, execution, and delivery of Wind Turbine construction and other technical or engineering projects within the renewable energy sector.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction, project coordination, or engineering, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse stakeholder groups. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge renewable energy initiatives while supporting the transition to a sustainable energy future.

<>Required Qualifications</>
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • (Equivalent field/construction experience may be considered)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction management, or engineering support
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to interface across multiple disciplines
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform occasional fieldwork
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project scheduling tools (e.g., Smartsheet)
<>Key Responsibilities</>
  • Assist in managing assigned projects to ensure compliance with budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals.
  • Support field construction activities performed by contractors and vendors, ensuring work aligns with project design and quality standards.
  • Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on assigned projects.
  • Participate in walkdowns of planned work, validate completion, and review contractor payment requests.
  • Verify constructability, ensure resource availability, assess field status, and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, local officials, and landowners to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Contribute to scope control, budgeting, technical issue resolution, performance reporting, and scheduling.
  • Reinforce company standards for safety, procedural compliance, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate activities across safety, engineering, construction, contract administration, and analytics teams.
  • Prepare and host pre-bid and pre-construction meetings and maintain project schedules in Smartsheet.
  • Travel to project sites (up to 25%) to oversee field execution and provide daily progress reports.
