Position Overview

As the Lead Analyst, Commercial Data Quality, you will play a key role in data stewardship, leveraging Master Data Management (MDM) technology to enhance data quality both in the short term through manual corrections and in the long term by advancing automated MDM capabilities. You will ensure the accuracy of data from inception to end-user, guiding data through systems effectively as MDM capabilities develop.

Your responsibilities will include leading a Master Data Clean-up initiative to standardize and eliminate errors in critical Master Data fields such as customer affiliation and address.

In your role as Business Process Owner (BPO) for MDM technology, you will collaborate with IT to optimize the MDM platform, manage daily error clearance, and maintain the 3rd Party Trade ID pipeline.

You will also oversee the Data Catalog to support business changes and control processes.

Additionally, you will coordinate sales inquiries across various subject matter experts to ensure timely resolution of data discrepancies, ultimately closing the feedback loop and shedding light on root cause issues to inform solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a significant Master Data Clean-up project that establishes a new quality baseline, requiring only periodic maintenance thereafter. Focus areas include address standardization, duplicate account number elimination, and ensuring accuracy in Sub-Customer Groups.
  • Act as the Business Process Owner for the Reltio MDM technology, providing requirements to IT for enhancements using Agile methodologies.
  • Conduct ongoing Reltio tasks, including daily error clearance, account hygiene maintenance, and optimization of match rules.
  • Ensure Data Stewardship and Governance through mid-stream and downstream change control processes and promote utilization of the Data Catalog.
  • Coordinate sales inquiries across multiple subject matter experts to ensure timely resolution and provide Tier 1 support for MDM-related inquiries.

An internal pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified. However, all applications will be considered.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of professional analytical experience.
  • Working knowledge of consuming data in cloud-based data warehousing technologies (e.g., AWS Redshift and S3, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Minimum of one year experience with SQL and/or Python
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on end-user satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to identify root cause issues with a willingness to learn and adapt to technology solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Experience in delivering both formal and informal presentations to cross-functional partners.
