Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Customer Support is hiring an Airline Support Engineering Manager (Level K) to lead the Flight Engineering Operations (FLOE) team in Seal Beach, California.

Flight Operations Engineering (FLOE) plays a critical role in resolving in-service issues and delivering 24/7 support to our Commercial Airplanes customers. As a manager, you will provide essential leadership and support to employees collaborating with internal Boeing stakeholders, customers, regulators, and industry partners. Your efforts will ensure the delivery of the highest quality products and services, while maintaining safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of FLOE's internal processes and tools, foster employee development and engagement, and lead other strategic initiatives. This role requires a professional with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who is adept at working effectively across diverse cultures, and may involve potential travel of 10-15% along with occasional support outside regular work hours or on weekends.

Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing airplane design, analysis, certification and production system activities in the areas of Flight Engineering.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provide technical authority for airplane configuration design, and provide direction and guidance to ensure Airplane Configuration and Integration (AC&I) products or processes meet customer, company, quality, safety, production system, industry and regulatory requirements.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Advances engineering excellence through continual development and technical improvement of the configuration design skill team and its engineering community.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering or airline support.
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience specifically in Flight Operations Engineering or Airline Support Engineering.
- Familiarity with safety management systems, regulatory compliance processes, and industry standards.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
- Prior experience working with international customers and regulatory bodies.
- Experience in employee development, engagement, and leadership in a technical environment.
