Location : Durham, NC 27703

Duration : 12 months Contract-possible to extend

Shift Details : 1st -Hours: M-F (8-9 hours per day) 8am-4pm

Pay Range : $28/hr. - $31 /hr.

The Engineering Tech is a dynamic contributor within a cGMP manufacturing environment, dedicated to supporting commitment to quality, compliance, and innovation. This role combines hands-on manufacturing operations with engineering support, focused on process integrity, continuous improvement, and regulatory excellence.

Responsibilities include:
-Equipment & Precision Instrumentation: Set up, operate, clean, and maintain, manufacturing equipment and precision instruments ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
-Documentation & SOP Management: Create, revise, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, training materials, and other critical cGMP documentation.
-Quality Assurance & Compliance: Own and review Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), Change Controls, and Deviations. Support investigations and root-cause analysis to maintain process quality and regulatory adherence.
-Material Handling & Sampling: Dispense raw materials and components, conduct product sampling for release testing, and document all manufacturing activities as required.
-Preventive Maintenance & Process Improvement: Lead preventative and routine maintenance efforts, maintain equipment records, and actively pursue opportunities for operational excellence through continuous improvement.
-Innovation Support: Introduce process and equipment improvements, and contribute to value-driven innovation initiatives.
-Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations Technicians, Process Engineers, and project teams to support global standards, efficiency, and agility.
-Safety & Environment: Maintain a clean and compliant work environment, uphold safety protocols, conduct facility safety inspections, and ensure adherence to gMP and regulatory policies.

This position is pivotal in delivering high-quality products, maintaining robust documentation, and driving process and technological enhancements across the manufacturing operation.


Essential :
-A science or engineering degree is essential for the Engineering Tech role
