Program Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support technical planning, system integration, verification and validation (V&V), and requirements analysis for complex systems. This role involves ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer and product requirements into total system solutions while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints. You will work across the full system lifecycle, from concept and design to test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
This role requires expertise in requirements writing, decomposition, tracing, and verification, as well as hands-on experience working with satellite ground systems and Linux environments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation (V&V), cost analysis, risk assessment, and supportability analyses
  • Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition
  • Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
  • Develop, manage, and trace requirements using DOORs
  • Write, decompose, and verify system requirements to ensure alignment with mission needs
  • Implement and execute automated unit testing to support software validation
  • Utilize DXL scripting to optimize requirement management and automation
  • Work with C++ to support system development and integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system design meets customer expectations
  • Operate in a Linux-based development environment

Required Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with DOORs for requirement management
  • Proficiency in C++ and ability to support software/system integration
  • Experience with scripting languages (DXL, etc.) for requirement automation
  • DXL scripting with an understanding of requirements management and familiar with working in an Agile Environment.
  • Strong understanding of automated unit testing methodologies
  • Experience with satellite ground systems and mission-critical applications
  • Expertise in requirements writing, decomposition, tracing, and verification
  • Experience working in a Linux environment
