Job Details
The Data & Analytics Program Manager is responsible for driving the successful execution of enterprise data and analytics initiatives. This role ensures alignment between business priorities, technology delivery, and governance standards. The Program Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business impact. The ideal candidate brings strong program management expertise, experience in data and analytics transformation, and the ability to collaborate across business, technology, governance, and executive stakeholders. This position will reside in the PMO and will be accountable to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer from a program governance and execution perspective.
This role does require travel (2-3 days a month to a corporate office).

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.

Core Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of data and analytics programs and initiatives.
- Define program scope, goals, and success metrics aligned to organizational strategy.
- Ensure timely delivery of program milestones while managing dependencies across multiple initiatives/teams and workstreams, while adhering to PMO standards and processes and utilizing PMO's tools and templates for portfolio management, project management and business analysis.
- Proactively navigate complex organizational structures, building relationships and driving alignment across business and technology stakeholders with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and organizational savvy by anticipating needs, removing barriers, and driving initiatives forward in dynamic, matrixed environments.
- Effectively engage across all levels of the organization, proactively navigating complex organizational structures, leveraging influence and initiative to secure buy-in, foster collaboration, and accelerate program outcomes.
Stakeholder Alignment:
- Partner with business leaders, technology teams, and governance bodies to align program objectives with enterprise priorities.
- Facilitate communication between data engineering, analytics, governance, and business functions.
- Act as a central point of accountability for reporting program status to executives.
Governance & Standards:
- Ensure that data and analytics programs align with enterprise data architecture, governance, and security standards.
- Work with data governance and compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are embedded in delivery.
Resource & Vendor Management:
- Manage internal resources, contractors, and vendor partners supporting data and analytics programs.
- Oversee program budgets, contracts, and resource allocations to maximize efficiency and value delivery.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Proactively identify risks, issues, decisions and dependencies across projects; create mitigation strategies.
- Escalate critical risks to leadership with recommended solutions.
Value Realization:
- Partner with Sr Data & Analytics Leadership to define and track KPI's that align with the business objectives and project deliverables, ensuring progress is measured against business cases, OKR's sand key performance metrics.
- Ensure programs contribute to organizational objectives such as trusted data, impactful insights, and regulatory compliance.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Contribute to strategy discussions and roadmap planning.
- Support management activities to drive adoption of data and analytics capabilities.
- Facilitate training or communications to improve awareness of program goals and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems Preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in program or project management, with at least 3-5 years focused on data and analytics or technology programs.
- PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) preferred.
- Strong program/project management skills with experience managing large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities.
- Familiarity with data and analytics concepts, including data governance, data architecture, BI, and advanced analytics.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid delivery models.
- Strong financial management skills to include budgeting and vendor oversight.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Airtable, Confluence, PPM).
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SEC, FINRA).
- Exposure to value realization frameworks (e.g., benefits tracking, ROI reporting).
- Understanding of data modeling principles.
- Knowledge of data management and data lineage concepts.
