Currently, we are searching for a Telecom Engineer to join our team ONSITE in Dallas, TX.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Programming and maintaining Avaya VoIP systems
  • Supporting Avaya Aura voice messaging and unified messaging systems
  • Support of Non-domain ISP routers
  • Installation and maintenance of network hardware and software
  • Configuration, installation, maintenance and upgrading of desktop and laptop hardware and software
  • Working with the users to answer questions and resolve problems in a help desk environment
  • Maintain videoconference system including these technologies:
    • Crestron AV systems, rack mounted hardware, tabletop touch panels, video and audio interfaces and microphones
    • Cisco WebEX room devices, touch panels and interfaces
    • Cisco SX-80 CODECS
    • MMRS conference kits, touch panels, cameras, and interfaces
    • Teams and Zoom support
  • Configuration and distribution of agency issued Cellular Phone equipment
  • Maintaining records of changes, moves, add-ons, installations and maintenance of system and equipment

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering, with a focus on design, implementation, and support
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Windows OS knowledge
  • Windows server knowledge
  • Office 365 experience: Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive, and others
  • Laptop hardware and peripheral support
  • Other Enterprise and desktop applications in use by the customer, i.e. People Plus, Concur, Google Earth and others
  • Printer support
  • Regular and predictable attendance
