Job Details

Title: IAM SailPoint Solution Architect

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid preferred)

Duration: Contract-to-Hire (C2H) after 6 months



Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the IAM architect and hands-on implementer for SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ solutions.
  • Lead the evaluation, design, and deployment of SailPoint solutions aligned with the organization's modernization strategy.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and IT stakeholders to define and implement IAM policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks, particularly around healthcare compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Assess and remediate access policy violations and help enforce least-privilege access models.
  • Integrate IAM solutions with Microsoft products (Azure AD, O365, etc.).
  • Identify risks and recommend IAM controls to reduce exposure and ensure policy compliance.
  • Define and implement identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, certification, and role management.
  • Guide IAM-related risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reviews in a healthcare setting.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentoring on best practices in IAM architecture and implementation.



Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a focus on SailPoint.
  • Proven experience in architecting and deploying SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ in enterprise environments.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Azure AD, Active Directory, O365, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of IAM requirements in healthcare, including compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Experience developing and enforcing IAM policies, SOPs, and access control standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify policy violations and define remediation steps.
  • Hands-on experience with identity governance, role-based access control (RBAC), and access reviews.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Certification in SailPoint or related IAM technologies is a plus.
