We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a critical role in driving our engineering projects to success. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of civil engineering projects, including but not limited to land development, infrastructure design, and construction management. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Civil Engineer (PE), you will be expected to:
1. Lead and manage a diverse range of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
2. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software for design and analysis tasks.
3. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
4. Develop project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within allocated resources.
5. Work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
6. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
7. Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
8. Prepare and present detailed reports and project updates to senior management.
9. Continuously stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you should possess:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
2. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS.
5. Proven experience in project management, including budgeting and scheduling.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong technical skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
9. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
