Job Description:
  • Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Specialist Lead, to play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing client event data landscape.
  • This contract position will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow and integrity of client global event data, particularly focusing on client current manual data integrations and supporting strategic automation initiatives.
  • Candidate will be a strategic and analytical thinker with a strong curiosity to understand endto-end event data flows and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data issues.
  • Collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and event technology teams, candidate will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility to support critical business functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Dayto-day Data Operations: Oversee the timely, accurate, and efficient processing of event data to support downstream analytics, reporting, and event success measurement.
  • Escalation Management and Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for and resolve complex datarelated issues and escalations, minimizing disruptions to event workflows and stakeholder reporting.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Product) to understand and fulfill their event data requirements, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Support for Strategic Automation Initiatives: Partner with the Product team to provide operational expertise and support the development and implementation of automation efforts aimed at streamlining event data processes
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the stability and integrity of current manual data integrations (\"Keep the Lights On\") while actively supporting the planning and execution of the transition to automated processes, including understanding data flows and serving as a key escalation point for related issues.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships across Marketing and event technology teams to understand data needs and dependencies related to current processes. Effectively communicate datarelated information to stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor existing data processes to identify bottlenecks and areas where improved data flow and monitoring can enhance efficiency and reduce errors within current manual integrations. Identify immediate resource constraints impacting current data support and propose practical solutions.
  • Change Management & Communication: Communicate effectively regarding any changes or issues related to current data processes.
  • Risk Management & Decision Making: Make informed decisions to mitigate risks related to current data operations.
  • Project Management & Execution: Track tasks and milestones related to maintaining and improving current data processes. Proactively identify and escalate impediments affecting current data operations.
What Candidate Should Have:
  • Proven ability to facilitate data discussions with stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
  • A solid understanding of the Salesforce Sales Cloud Data Model and how event data integrates with it.
  • Demonstrated experience managing work streams and priorities for multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • A strong curiosity about data and its movement across systems, with a drive to understand data lineage and troubleshoot issues.
  • An ability to identify operational challenges and propose practical solutions.
  • An ability to triage escalations, work with senior stakeholders and solution challenges.
  • An ability to evaluate and design processes, and package it up for service delivery.
  • Expertise in dissecting data problems, clearly articulating data flow implications, and proposing logical troubleshooting steps.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working within crossfunctional teams, ideally in a marketing or technology-related environment.
  • A 4year college degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect and analyze complex data flows to identify root causes of discrepancies and integration issues.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting datarelated problems and implementing effective solutions.

Pay Range: $65- $68/hr W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
