Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Work and Asset Management (WAM) Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Utilities solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth functional and/or technical expertise in Oracle WAM, integration with other Oracle Utilities products such as CC&B, C2M, MDM, and a strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and utility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client requirements and translate business needs into Oracle WAM configurations.
  • Design and configure Oracle WAM modules Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory, Preventive Maintenance, and Inspections.
  • Perform functional gap analysis and develop business process mappings for asset lifecycle management.
  • Support end-to-end WAM implementation requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Create and maintain functional design documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate WAM with CC&B, C2M, MDM, and GIS systems.
  • Conduct functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide training to end-users.

Technical Responsibilities (if full-stack role):

  • Develop and customize Oracle WAM applications using Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
  • Work on configurations, scripts, batch processes, zones, portals, and UI maps within the framework.
  • Develop WAM reports using BI Publisher / Oracle Reports.
  • Support data migration, conversions, and integrations via Web Services, SOA, or middleware tools.
  • Troubleshoot performance and configuration issues in WebLogic and OUAF environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle Utilities solutions; with experience in Oracle WAM.
  • Strong understanding of work management, asset management, preventive maintenance, and inventory modules.
  • Hands-on experience with OUAF, CMA, Scripts, To Do s, Batch, and Algorithms.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and integration technologies (SOAP/REST APIs).
  • Familiarity with GIS, CC&B/C2M integration, and SOA/WebLogic administration preferred.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to interact with business users and technical teams.
