We have partnered with our client in their search for an Optimization Analytics Consultant


Position Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Optimization Analytics Consultant with hands-on experience in process optimization and mathematical modeling using Pyomo. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and can translate business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.




Key Responsibilities



  • Design and implement optimization models using Pyomo to solve real-world business problems in areas such as Salesforce optimization, pricing strategy, and supply chain efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and IT, to identify optimization opportunities and align solutions with business goals.

  • Support post-implementation solutioning, reinforcing processes and driving continuous improvement across enterprise systems.

  • Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders, translating technical insights into strategic decisions.

  • Apply machine learning and AI techniques to enhance predictive capabilities and model performance.

  • Utilize tools like AnyLogic and other simulation/analytics platforms to support scenario planning and decision modeling.

  • Contribute to the upskilling of finance and operations teams, helping integrate optimization into daily workflows.




Required Qualifications



  • 5-7 years of experience in data science, optimization, or analytics roles.

  • Proven expertise in Pyomo for mathematical modeling and optimization.

  • Experience in Salesforce, pricing, or supply chain optimization projects.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders.

  • Understanding of AnyLogic or similar simulation tools.

  • Familiarity with machine learning/AI concepts and their application in business contexts.

  • Background in Operations Research, Chemical Engineering, or a related quantitative field (preferred but not required).




Preferred Skills



  • Experience in the life sciences industry or regulated environments.

  • Exposure to enterprise systems and backend integration strategies.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
