Fiber Project Manager

Location: Westfield, MA (4 days a week at office location, 1 day virtually)
Job type: Long-Term Contract

Our client, a major Telecommunications provider, is hiring a Fiber Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity.

The Fiber Project Manager will facilitate updates on Fiber Construction Projects throughout the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate updates on construction projects
• Conducts calls between the end client and construction team
• Updates to the construction team on what is needed for the job, the timeline, and what specifics are needed to complete the job.
• If Construction teams need anything, the Project Manager will update the customer and obtain needed information.
• Run reporting to update the jobs.
• Update leadership on job status

• Strong organizational skills - must have at least 1 year of proven experience in a previous role (with examples).
• Understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
• Ability to work in a team environment (current team consists of 4 members).
• Handle multiple projects at any given time.
• PMP Certification is not required but would be a plus
• Previous Project Management experience in Construction/Fiber Telecommunication is nice but not required.
