JR DevOps Engineer - DCGS-N Program Location: North Charleston, SC
About the Role - Leidos National Security Sector is excited to offer an opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join the Distributed Common Ground System - Navy (DCGS-N) program. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and operating CI/CD pipelines across government labs and cloud environments. You'll collaborate with integration and software engineering teams in an Agile SAFe environment to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise intelligence products.

About the Role - Leidos National Security Sector is excited to offer an opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join the Distributed Common Ground System - Navy (DCGS-N) program. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and operating CI/CD pipelines across government labs and cloud environments. You'll collaborate with integration and software engineering teams in an Agile SAFe environment to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise intelligence products.
What You'll Do!
- Design and maintain DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines for hybrid deployments
- Support cloud infrastructure baselines and production system availability
- Administer and operate all components of the DevOps environment
- Define and codify CI/CD best practices across the enterprise
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate application and infrastructure deployments/environments.
- Working with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline with 2+ yrs of relative experience (additional experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute degree requirement).
- 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps tools (GitLab, Docker) and CM principles
- IAT Level II 8140 certification requirements to be a privileged user in the lab and cloud environments including but not limited to CompTIA Security+ CE and an Environmental Certification.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, ArgoCD, Trivy, Defect Dojo, KeyCloak.
- Strong Linux infrastructure management skills
- Willingness to travel (1-4 weeks/year) and ability to obtain a U.S. passport
Preferred Skills:
- One or more years' experience in support of design, testing, deployment, and sustainment of DCGS-N or other C4ISR programs.
- AWS Associate Certification (Developer, Solution Architect, or Sys Ops Admin)
- Demonstrated experience in container orchestration using Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS/ECS/ECR
- Demonstrated experience with Languages including Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, and Unix shell Scripting
- Demonstrated experience with Ansible and Terraform.
- DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Clearance Requirement:
- ; Currently possess an active Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
