Job Details

Description

Essential Functions
Prepare test reports and communicate test results to engineering and other stakeholders.

Interpret and develop test documentation: customer-specific, technical performance, safety, agency, reliability, and manufacturability.

Develop and maintain specialized systems and equipment to record test data with LabVIEW programs and the other internal servers.

Conduct detailed analysis, simulations, and testing to validate designs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement to ensure project success.

Prepare, communicate and monitor major technical project plans.

Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IPC, UL, CE).

Mentor and guide junior engineers in their professional development.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and software issues with test systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Functional understanding of electronics and control systems.

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and PCB layouts.

Familiarity with CAD software and in-circuit design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, Solidworks) recommended.

Ability to generate product and hardware test plans.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and lead technical teams.

Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to interpret and apply industry standards and regulations.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Assist in maintaining high standards of product quality and reliability.

Office setting with occasional visits to customer sites and testing facilities.

Standard office hours with occasional overtime or weekend work for project deadlines.
