Overview

The Technical Business Systems Analyst will provide support to operational employees in optimizing technology, systems, and business processes related to Workday. The role involves troubleshooting, system monitoring, upgrades, testing, report creation, and consultation to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond and triage issues from end users on Workday, researching root causes and leading cross-functional efforts to resolve systemic issues.
  • Proactively monitor systems to identify potential gaps or issues, resolving or mitigating them to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze anticipated system upgrades or changes, identifying potential issues and recommending operational improvements.
  • Design and build complex reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business processes and drive system improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and consultative partner to end users and other stakeholders, leading significant programs of improvement and process enhancements.
  • Implement system changes in accordance with governance processes and coordinate implications with affected business areas.

  • Knowledge of systems used in the department

  • Knowledge of configuring systems or application system development, relational databases, and coding principles
  • Intermediate skills in customer focus
  • Intermediate skills in enterprise/business awareness
  • Advanced skills in analysis and problem solving
