RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Web Accessibility Developer in Bridge City, TX.
Summary:
We are seeking to hire a full-time Web Accessibility Developer to be an important part of a team that supports state-of-the-art transportation software used to route and permit oversize and overweight truck loads all over North America for government Departments of Transportation. They will be expected to work with an energetic team that includes project managers, quality testers, GIS specialists and other software developers.
Responsibilities:
* Review, test, and debug existing websites to ensure they meet WCAG 2.2 AAA requirements
* Document accessibility deficiencies and work with the development team to resolve them
* Work with the Software Development Manager and individual project managers to meet project goals
* Provide daily updates on work assigned via our project management application
REQUIREMENTS:
* Three or more years of experience with web site accessibility troubleshooting
* Experience with web accessibility tools such as NVDA, WAVE, Accessibility Insights, etc.
* Experience with web technologies, such as HTML including ARIA, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and JavaScript
* In depth knowledge or the WCAG 2.2 AAA standards and how to apply them to a web site
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a distributed team
* The ability to multi-task and adapt to quick changes in priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Two or more years of experience with ASP.NET Web Forms
* Two or more years of experience with Razor and Blazor Server
* Two or more years of experience with Syncfusion PDF
* Experience using Visual Studio 2022 to write and debug code, and SSMS to query databases
* Experience using Team Foundation Server and Git
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
