Job Description
This posting is for Wisconsin based candidates only (or those willing to relocate to Wisconsin within 30 days of the start date). Responsibilities:
The person in this position will work closely with the team in developing the frontend and server side of the web application
Project duties include requirements analysis, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, and participation in interactive code reviews
Hands-on development experience as part of a team modernizing government applications will be helpful
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing fine-grained authorization policies and mechanisms within applications to control specific data, features, and functionalities at a granular level is valuable
Expectations for this position are development of quality code, following coding standards, active participation in code reviews, sharing expertise, respectful communication, transparency, technical documentation, and the ability to perform production support
The developer may work on other projects as needed.
The candidate should be able to work independently and know when to ask for help
A successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be a team player
The senior level .NET Web Developer designs, develops, and implements web-based applications using .NET framework to support business requirements
Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE and supported programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript)
Performs development of front-end and back-end development of web applications and web API's (webservices)
Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing
Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Can perform with no direct supervision, code is reviewed by team. Reviews junior developer's code
