Job Title: Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (CPQ & CLM)
Location: Pleasanton, CA (3 days a week for now)
Job Type: Contract
Experience Level: Senior (7+ years)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with deep functional knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) solutions. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Salesforce ecosystem projects, with a strong ability to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and work closely with development teams. Experience with Conga CLM is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for Salesforce CPQ and CLM projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for Salesforce CPQ (e.g., pricing rules, product configurations, quoting) and CLM (e.g., contract templates, workflows).
- Work closely with Salesforce Developers, Architects, and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and operations teams to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Assist in the design and testing of new Salesforce features, user stories, and workflows related to CPQ and CLM.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by defining test scenarios, coordinating test efforts, and validating outcomes.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance in CLM processes, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ processes, including quoting, pricing strategies, discounting, and approval workflows.
- Hands-on experience working with CLM systems, preferably Conga CLM (configuration, workflows, templates).
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solution designs.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning UI, data models, and standard/custom objects.
- Experience creating functional specs, process flows, user stories, and gap analyses.
- Knowledge of Salesforce data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Conga CLM strongly preferred.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, or Business Analyst certification.
