We are seeking a Senior Application Analyst for our Population Health - Epic Care Management team. This covers workflows for inpatient, outpatient, and transitional care management.

Responsibilities:
  • Install new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications. Configure application settings.
  • Provide go-live and rollout support
  • Interface with users/clients across the Montefiore Health System. Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality
  • Perform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Montefiore IT associate or the vendor to coordinate the modification
  • Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users:
    • Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements
    • Interpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help client move towards optimal solution
    • Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the system
    • Create system specifications from user requirements
  • Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modifications
  • Document all outcomes of testing
  • Write and maintain accurate and current documentation regarding application(s) supported by the team. Participate in the maintenance of training materials and disseminate materials to users.
  • Application implementation, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Assist Application Analysts and other team members as necessary. Encourage, assist, and foster development of co-workers' skills and proficiency
  • Provide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, coordinate modifications and updates, recommend improvements & increase efficiencies and provide pro-active monitoring
  • Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis
  • On an as-needed basis, provide on-site support within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and/or its' affiliates (on-site, rotational support)


Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Epic certification in Healthy Planet and/or Compass Rose or Ambulatory ( Strong Consideration will be given to candidates that can demonstrate ability to pass EPIC Certification in combination with relevant skills/experience)
  • 5+ years of related clinical or business experience related to population health/care management
  • Application implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support experience
  • Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Stong ability to influence design decisions and steer projects towards successful outcomes
