Job Description

The Senior IT Director, ERP Platform Delivery drives innovation, shapes digital strategy, and influences enterprise-wide transformation. This role sets strategic direction and leads cross-functional initiatives across multiple domains, disciplines, and regions. This role partners closely with directors, executives, and key external stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes through cutting-edge technology, robust governance, and proactive risk management. This role champions leadership development, aligns talent strategies with organizational goals, and cultivates a high-performance culture that supports succession planning and long-term growth. This role will represent Enterprise Technology Group by leading the solution and services delivery for ERP Platforms. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering and supporting ERP digital back-end services, integrations, API's and data conversions. The position will have ownership for the direction of Enterprise ERP Platform technical capabilities and will partner with the Business leadership, Enterprise Digital Products, Enterprise Architecture and third-party vendors, in driving the digital transformation. The role requires understanding of business issues/ opportunities, and work with various business stakeholders in problem solving, creating business capabilities, and defining effective and efficient technology solutions for solving business problems and enabling business capabilities. The incumbent will require to possess experience with a wide range of technologies/protocols, and a robust background in Cloud ERP platforms, and digital solution development. This leader must possess strong experience in developing ERP, digital solutions, program and roadmap as well as strategic partnership skills, change leadership skills, and develop outstanding working relationships with peers in Technology.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision
  • Define and articulate a clear IT strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring cross-functional alignment across business units and regions.
  • Supervise and mentor a diverse team of senior IT leaders and direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future leaders, supporting succession planning and long-term organizational capability.
  • Align IT talent strategy with enterprise objectives, ensuring the right skills, roles, and structures are in place to support digital transformation and operational excellence.
  • Establish and oversee performance goals, development plans, and feedback mechanisms for direct reports, promoting a results-driven and growth-oriented environment.
  • Build strong partnerships with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and external partners to drive integrated solutions and enterprise-wide impact.
  • Provide leadership in IT governance, policy development, and risk mitigation, ensuring compliance and resilience in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

  • Influences organizational direction through strategic communication, negotiation, and thought leadership.
  • Acts as a visible and respected leader across the organization, fostering collaboration and shared accountability.
  • Facilitates alignment across regions and disciplines, ensuring cohesive execution of innovation, policy, and risk strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.

Education

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in the information technology (IT) field. In lieu of a degree, at least 13 years of experience in IT.

Preferred
  • One or more of the following certifications: [insert specific, preferred certifications (i.e. ITIL Foundation, Project Management Professional (PMP), AWS Certified Solution Architect, etc.)

Skills Experience

Required
  • 10+ years in progressive IT leadership roles, including experience leading cross-functional teams and managing enterprise-wide technology initiatives across multiple regions and business domains.
  • 6+ years of experience executing digital strategies, driving innovation, and aligning technology investments with business goals, including experience influencing executive stakeholders and shaping organizational policy and governance

Preferred
  • Oracle fusion ERP implementation experience
  • Significant project management and leadership experience
  • Previous experience managing personnel in multiple global regions
  • Good understanding of some of the business processes within Oracle ERP/ SCM; including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Assets, Planning Manufacturing Inventory, Supply Chain
