Position: Senior ASIC Design Engineer - Optical Communication Systems

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop state-of-the-art electronic devices and intellectual property (IP) for optical communication systems.
- Apply proven expertise in deep sub-micron silicon technologies.
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-site, international development team.
- Design ASIC devices for the processing of optical signals.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in deep sub-micron ASIC design.
- Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog for development and ASIC verification.
- Preferred experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and forward error correction (FEC) design.
- Experience with high-speed analog design is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across international teams and time zones.
- Effective communication skills, including fluency in English.
