Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Azure Administration

  • Manage and administer Microsoft Azure environments (subscriptions, resource groups, networking, storage, and compute)

  • Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), RBAC, identities, and access policies

  • Monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights

  • Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions

  • Perform cost management and optimization using Azure Cost Management tools

  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices

Azure Synapse Analytics

  • Administer and maintain Azure Synapse Analytics (Dedicated & Serverless SQL Pools)

  • Monitor and optimize Synapse performance, workloads, and query execution

  • Manage data access, security, and permissions within Synapse

  • Support data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Synapse Pipelines / Azure Data Factory

  • Troubleshoot Synapse-related issues and performance bottlenecks

  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and BI teams to support analytics needs
