Summary
Seeking a highly capable Product Owner with a strong track record in technology or entertainment environments. Ideal candidates bring both strategic product thinking and hands-on delivery experience, with a background in discovery, stakeholder engagement, and agile practices. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work across complex organizations, and a mindset focused on delivering high-impact internal tools that drive business results.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5-10 years of professional experience in technology or entertainment environments.
- At least 4 years in product management or ownership, with experience conducting discovery work and defining product roadmaps.
- Prior experience in project management or business analysis roles is a plus.
- Strong experience facilitating requirement gathering sessions and translating needs into actionable deliverables.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira; able to manage boards and support team workflows.
- Proven ability to write clear, detailed user stories and maintain a prioritized product backlog.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Product Lead and subject matter expert for assigned internal tools and dashboards.
- Conduct discovery activities, including user interviews, workflow mapping, and persona development to inform product vision.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to understand business processes and translate them into clear, actionable user stories.
- Maintain a well-organized, prioritized backlog; lead refinement sessions and support agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data) to define, deliver, and iterate on high-value features.
- Communicate findings, priorities, and product vision effectively to diverse stakeholders, adapting style to audience needs.
- Produce clear, structured product documentation that supports efficient and confident feature development.
- Identify major risks and challenges early, and communicate them proactively to drive collaborative solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation by seeking opportunities to enhance internal tools and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in marketing technology or data analysis.
- Experience in large-scale media, entertainment, or content production environments.
- Familiarity with design thinking practices and avoiding excessive documentation while maintaining clarity.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related field.
