Description

Reporting to the SEO Manager, this candidate will be responsible for managing day to day aspects and search engine optimization of the company website across search engines.

Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining the integrity of the search engine results for company web properties.
  • This role will be the day-to-day SEO contact.
  • Carrying out strategy set forth by the SEO Manager and communicating results based on search engine optimization (SEO) strategy and best practices for the Developers, Product Managers and others as needed.
  • Writing IT project requirements and ensuring new site enhancements meet with SEO best practices and/or further search engine optimization.
  • Performing research and analyses related to the company's site as well as competitors' sites, and how these sites rank on Google.
  • Providing reporting and feedback on findings and making recommendations to improve results on an ongoing basis.
  • Partnering with IT, eCommerce, Taxonomy, Copywriters and various teams to boost search results through cohesive SEO activities.


Requirements

Requirements include:
  • Must have 3+ years' experience with Search Engine Optimization in the ecommerce space; Knowledge of search engine algorithms and website architecture.
  • Expert understanding of Google Search Console
  • Experience in SEO crawling tools such as Botify, Screaming Frog or Lumar.
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues like broken links, redirect chains and other errors
  • Experience and understanding of the effective use of keyword reporting platforms such as semRush, BrightEdge or Conductor to identify issues/opportunities.
  • Knowledge of HTML/proper use of HTML markup and JavaScript as it relates to SEO.
  • Ability to inspect/debug issues via Chrome DevTools. Knowledge of CSS.
  • Understanding of link strategies and Core Web Vitals. Experience in Adobe Analytics.
