Location: McLean, VA- 100% ONSITE

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Program Delivery Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects, enhancements, and integrations. Oversee project planning, scope definition, sprint execution, and release management. Define delivery frameworks, manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely project completion. Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, architects, and marketing stakeholders.
2. Platform Governance Operations Establish and enforce governance standards for SMC configuration, data usage, segmentation, and automation. Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, etc.). Manage platform performance, user roles, environment access, and change control processes. Partner with IT security and data teams to ensure secure and reliable integrations.
3. Technical Oversight Provide guidance on SMC architecture, API integrations, data extensions, SQL queries, and automation best practices. Review and approve technical design documents and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture. Support technical teams in troubleshooting platform issues, optimizing automations, and ensuring journey reliability.
4. Stakeholder Vendor Management Serve as the primary point of contact between marketing, IT, product owners, and external implementation partners. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable work items. Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines to leadership and stakeholders. Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and contract deliverables as needed.
5. Team Leadership Lead and mentor onshore offshore SMC delivery teams. Promote Agile methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous improvement practices. Conduct performance reviews, capability assessments, and training initiatives.


Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
Proven experience delivering projects in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile, Personalization Interaction Studio).
Strong understanding of data modeling, segmentation logic, APIs, and marketing automation.
Experience in Agile Scrum delivery models. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Consultant).
Experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and broader Salesforce ecosystem.
Background in digital marketing, customer engagement, or marketing technology.
Experience with SQL, AMP script, SSJS, API integrations.
