Overview
DecisionPoint seeks an Operations & Engagement (O&E) Deputy PM to support operations planning, readiness management, cross-team coordination, and stakeholder engagement for a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role ensures all O&E activities integrate seamlessly with the PMO and IT/Cyber/Data Operations teams, providing structured operational oversight and ensuring mission continuity across interconnected workstreams.
The O&E Deputy PM supports resource planning, risk and issue management, O&E workflow integration, readiness tracking, and quality assurance for all O&E deliverables. This position is instrumental in maintaining operational performance across a dynamic enterprise environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
The O&E Deputy PM will:
- Support day-to-day O&E program operations and ensure alignment with PMO direction.
- Coordinate O&E activities with IT, Cybersecurity, Data Operations, and other mission partners.
- Maintain O&E readiness by tracking schedules, resources, deliverables, and operational dependencies.
- Support resource planning, forecasting, and staffing coordination for O&E functions.
- Oversee risk and issue management, including mitigation plans and cross-team escalation paths.
- Ensure all O&E deliverables meet accuracy, quality, timeliness, and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate O&E operational syncs, stand-ups, governance reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
- Track O&E performance metrics, SLAs, KPIs, and operational dashboards.
- Support the development and refinement of SOPs, workflows, checklists, and quality processes.
- Collaborate with communications teams to ensure alignment of messaging with O&E insights.
- Support reporting for PMO reviews, executive briefings, and operational dashboards.
- Assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities across O&E tasks.
Clearance Requirement

Education (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Operations & Engagement-related fields such as Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience (Required)
- Minimum 7 years of experience supporting operations, engagement, program management, or related mission support functions.
- Experience integrating operational workflows across multiple functional areas such as PMO, IT, Cybersecurity, or Data Operations.
- Experience supporting risk management, issue resolution, and readiness tracking.
- Experience managing or supporting operational deliverables, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Technical Knowledge (Required)
- Understanding of operational planning, readiness management, and service coordination.
- Familiarity with workflow tools, PMO processes, and cross-functional integration.
- Experience with performance metrics, SLA tracking, and operational dashboards.
Technical Knowledge (Preferred)
- Experience supporting federal or DoD mission environments.
- Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, or PMO governance structures.
Certifications
