Title: Portfolio Optimization Process Owner

Location: Remote within the US (CST hours required)

Duration: Contract to Hire

Rate: $70-78/hr. on W2

Job Profile Summary

Position Purpose: This is for the Cost Management Practice Lead position.

Position is for the Cost Management practices. Assigned practices on this team are Timekeeping, Resource planning, and cost management.

Team is responsible for designing, implementing and improving Strategic Portfolio Management processes aligned with the Org's goals. Dedicated and hard-working team.

Daily hours will be from 8:00am CT - 5:00pmCT.

Typical Daily tasks will include:

Drive tool adoption (e.g., ServiceNow), monitor portfolio health, and deliver actionable insights.

Collaborate across teams to optimize processes, manage risks, and ensure scalability.

Oversee reporting on portfolio performance and lead change management initiatives. Cross-functional collaboration required.

This position requires exceptional collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills and provides the opportunity to engage with stakeholders, influence alignment and drive results across all organizational levels.

Accountable for leading, defining, executing, and continuously advancing Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) processes to align portfolio initiatives with organizational objectives. Establishes and drives data driven decision making, optimizes process efficiency and establishes robust mechanisms to monitor portfolio health enabling maximum value realization and achievement of strategic goals.

Must haves:

- Extensive expertise (7+ years) in Agile Portfolio, Program, or Product Management, with a proven ability to implement portfolio practices using tools like ServiceNow.

- Recognized authority in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), including governance, metrics design, and alignment with enterprise strategies, with success in leading cross-functional process improvements.

- Experience managing organizational change in dynamic environments, with healthcare experience as a preferred bonus

Nice to haves: Healthcare experience preferred and certifications like SAFe, LMP, Six Sigma or PMP. Strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to design impactful solutions and create data-driven insights through analytics and visualizations.

Performance indicators:

- Optimize and improve Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) processes for scalability and efficiency.

- Develop governance metrics to monitor portfolio health and provide actionable insights.

- Drive tool adoption for assigned practice (timekeeping, resource plan, cost management) (e.g., ServiceNow) and foster cross-functional collaboration to resolve challenges.

Monitor financial outcomes, mitigate risks, and ensure value realization through effective reporting and change management.

Education/Experience:

Requires a Bachelors degree and 5 - 7 years of related experience

License/Certification:

CSSBB - Six Sigma Black Belt , Non-Black Belt certifications will be considered as well, preferred

Portfolio Management Professional (PMP) , SAFe LPM certfication will be considered as well, preferred

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred
