Job Details

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to support a large-scale migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in desktop support, OS deployment, and troubleshooting, with a focus on ensuring a smooth transition for end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration plans, including imaging, deployment, and configuration of endpoints.
  • Perform pre-migration assessments to ensure hardware and software compatibility.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and peripherals during migration.
  • Utilize tools such as SCCM, Intune, and IBM MaaS360 for device management and compliance.
  • Document migration processes, maintain accurate records, and update knowledge base articles.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for post-migration issues, including application compatibility and user settings.
  • Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Communicate effectively with end users to minimize downtime and ensure a positive migration experience.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in desktop support or OS deployment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with SCCM, Intune, or similar endpoint management tools.
  • Familiarity with imaging tools and automated deployment processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred:
  • Experience with IBM MaaS360 or other MDM solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MD-100/101) or equivalent.

This is a Contract position based out of Milford, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr.
