Title: Jr. Data Scientist

We're seeking a Junior Data Scientist who excels at building production-grade models, quantifying real-world impact, and optimizing data workflows. This role combines analytics with strategic collaboration to drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development & Deployment
  Work on the end-to-end lifecycle of predictive models-classification, regression, anomaly detection, and A/B/n testing-using Python and Spark MLlib. Deploy models in production and iterate based on performance metrics.
• Impact Measurement
  Define and track KPIs tied to model outputs. Design and analyze experiments (e.g., A/B tests), quantify the financial or operational value of models, and deliver clear ROI evaluations.
• Data Prioritization & Optimization
  Engineer robust, scalable Spark data pipelines in Python or Scala. Optimize Spark jobs and SQL queries via partitioning, caching, and execution plan tuning for performance gains.
• SQL & Data Engineering
  Lead data extraction and transformation efforts using complex SQL on platforms like Hive, Redshift, or Oracle. Translate business questions into analytical datasets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Partner with software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to integrate data science models into applications and influence decision-making.
• Monitoring & Lifecycle Management
  Establish model monitoring frameworks. Conduct regular retraining and recalibration to maintain model accuracy and relevance.

Qualifications
Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 0-4 years of hands-on experience in data science or analytics with production deployments

Technical Skills

• Python (including Pandas/NumPy/SciPy), Spark (PySpark or Scala), and Spark MLlib
• Advanced SQL across large-scale data systems
• Strong background in statistics, experimental design, and causal inference
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data engineering tools (e.g., Delta Lake, Databricks) a plus
