Description

We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join our innovative team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this role, you will contribute to the development of AI-driven solutions for manufacturing facilities, focusing on visual inspections and task tracking. This is a mid-level position ideal for professionals who excel in building production-ready environments and implementing computer vision models from scratch.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement computer vision models using frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
Analyze camera feeds to detect anomalies and defects in manufacturing processes and provide real-time updates.
Build supervised and unsupervised learning models tailored to production environments.
Set up and maintain cloud-based servers, including EC2 instances and S3 storage.
Collaborate with the engineering team to design robust AI solutions for visual inspections and task tracking.
Optimize algorithms for object detection and template matching to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Work on deploying production-grade code and integrating it seamlessly into manufacturing workflows.
Conduct testing and validation of models to ensure reliability in real-world applications.
Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks related to data processing and model deployment.
Participate in quarterly onsite meetings to align with project goals and team objectives.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in computer vision and AI development.
Proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Hands-on experience with object detection and template matching techniques.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, including AWS services such as EC2 and S3.
Ability to build production-ready code environments and deploy models effectively.
Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning methodologies.
Previous experience analyzing camera feeds for defect detection or process tracking.
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
