Job Description
LM400 Spacecraft Assembly Integration and Test is looking for a Space Vehicle Mechanical Lead Integration and Test Engineer to support P224 during the proposal and design phase.
As a Program Lead Mechanical Systems Integration and Test Engineer, you will:
- Develop, review and define test cases, test configurations, and test events for space vehicle qualification, acceptance, and production test phases
- Develop Detailed Test Plans and Test Information Sheet equivalents in Cameo to support MBT (Model Based Test) initiatives
- Work closely with Mechanical Leadership to determine discrete P224 program needs and identify areas of concern in a per-production environment.
- Support all technical meetings pertaining the general SV operations during early spacecraft design concepts
- Ensure Assembly Integration and Test participation in all sub system and system level drawing review and release.
- Provide input to early development of system level test requirements and ensure the requirements are in line with a class C program approach
- Lead and drive the release of all LM400 Common products to support build start including, MWIs, TPs, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Support Systems Engineering and Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) in the verification of test requirements
- Work within a fast-paced production operations environment that may include 24/7 support and travel to support full lifecycle operations
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in an engineering discipline or related experience
Ability to lead a team through the execution of established procedures and processes
Knowledge of the Assembly, Test or Launch Operations standard methodologies and lessons learned
Must have an active Top Secret
Desired skills
Experienced Test Conductor on Space Vehicle Integration and Test Programs, including: Component and System Level Functional and Environmental test
Experience with mechanical and electrical test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, signal generators
Experience Planning and executing mechanical operations associated with final integration and test of complex spacecraft
Experience in Space Vehicle Test Operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, and anomaly resolution
Excellent technical writing, planning and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to achieve consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
Applies advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and theories.
Experience leading teams through successful test efforts, schedule management and resource planning
Lead CTC/TE and ME experience during build of final spacecraft integration

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
