Job Description
The purpose of the renewable energy internship position is to develop college students that are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business or a similar field. Interns will be exposed to a variety of projects and activities that occur within the energy business. Interns will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the workplace.

Responsibilities
- Assist with substation and high voltage improvement projects
- Work with and update relay and system protection settings
- Organize fleet substation data
- Additional projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be a college student, sophomore or higher standing, currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in engineering, business or related field
- Prior utility or energy industry experience helpful but not required
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective project management skills
- Effective analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects within tight deadlines
- Employment is contingent upon passing a post-offer background check and drug screen
