Responsibilities:

  • Develop Power Fx formulas, validations, and custom logic.
  • Build custom connectors for integrating external or legacy systems.
  • Ensure strong UI/UX design principles for state user populations.

.NET / Application Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs used by Power Apps or other SHA systems.
  • Develop server-side logic, services, and integrations with third-party and legacy applications.
  • Implement role-based access controls and follow state security and compliance standards.
  • Refactor existing SHA applications to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.

System Integration & Support

  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SHA systems, including SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Azure services, and GIS systems (if applicable).
  • Troubleshoot issues across Power Apps, APIs, and .NET applications.
  • Manage application lifecycle, versioning, deployment pipelines, and environment governance.
  • Work collaboratively with SHA business units, analysts, and infrastructure teams.

Documentation & Governance

  • Produce technical documentation including architecture diagrams, data models, SOPs, and deployment guides.
  • Follow SHA's IT governance, security, and data standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, Power Platform governance, and team knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • 12 years of software development experience with a mix of Power Platform and .NET technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
  • Proficiency with Power Automate, connectors, Dataverse, and Power Fx.
  • Advanced knowledge of C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and modern development frameworks.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including Logic Apps, App Services, and Azure AD.
  • Strong SQL skills with SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS.
  • Experience integrating applications via APIs, REST endpoints, and enterprise data sources.
