Overview

We are seeking multiple Radiology Systems Implementation Engineers to support the enterprise rollout of Laurel Bridge Compass and related DICOM router solutions. These are high-travel, hands-on implementation roles responsible for configuring and updating radiology modalities (MRI, CT, X-Ray, etc.) across multiple hospital sites.

This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy being onsite, engaging directly with hospital imaging teams, and executing detailed modality configuration work.



Responsibilities


  • Travel to hospital and imaging center sites (80%+ travel) to perform onsite DICOM configuration and system updates.
  • Implement and support the Laurel Bridge Compass DICOM Router, ensuring proper routing and integration with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
  • Update DICOM tags, AE Titles, IP addresses, and routing configurations on imaging modalities (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, etc.).
  • Collaborate with clinical engineering and IT teams to validate connectivity, troubleshoot interface issues, and ensure system readiness for go-live.
  • Document configuration settings, workflow mappings, and validation results for each site.



Qualifications


  • Strong hands-on experience with DICOM, modality configuration, and imaging workflow integration.
  • Working knowledge of Laurel Bridge Compass or other DICOM routing tools (e.g., DCM4CHEE, Orthanc, eUnity, etc.).
  • Familiarity with imaging modalities and their software interfaces MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills in clinical/IT hybrid environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 80%+ for onsite support and go-live activities.
  • No hardware or Biomed background required this is a software configuration and workflow-focused role
