Job Details

Job Title: Hyland OnBase System Admin Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote) Duration: 6-Month Contract (with possible hire)

Exp - 10+years

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in administering Hyland OnBase systems.
  • Strong understanding of ECM concepts, document management, and business process automation.
  • Hands-on experience with OnBase modules such as Workflow, Work View, Unity Forms, and Integration for Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Windows Server, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hyland OnBase Certification (OCSA, OCWA, or OCSA-W) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with OnBase APIs, scripting, and integration tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ECM systems and migration strategies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, administer and maintain the Hyland OnBase ECM system, including installation, upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand document management requirements and develop tailored OnBase solutions.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize workflows, document types, user groups, and access rights within OnBase.
  • Perform regular system health checks, backups, and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring effective system usage and adoption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OnBase components, integrations, and user access.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, support procedures, and system architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to implement new features, integrations, and security updates.
  • Stay up to date with OnBase product releases, best practices, and industry trends.
