Job Details

This growing Energy player has a new opportunity open through the promotion of their existing staff. In this role you will be responsible for creating short and long-term forecasts for operations and development, e.g., Production, Financial, etc., while understanding the impact that these factors have on the overall company performance.

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
Strategizing with management you will utilizing business metrics to help ensure planning and oversight activities are designed to ensure functional financial and performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare budget and track company performance against metrics such as production, Capex, Opex, and HSE.
  • Analyze internal or external to determine actual performance as compared to company goals, projections and budget.
  • Conduct data mining to perform assessments and identify trends to suggest actions or determine root causes driving change.
  • Gathers Business Intelligence to analyze data and develop recommendations for improvement or change.
  • Establish annual KPIs and Reporting Process.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve existing processes and develop strategies for implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices to improve project delivery and business outcomes.
  • Continuously strive to improve system processes and build efficiencies

BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Geoscience, etc.
  • Experience in corporate planning or reservoir engineering roles, with familiarity of production forecasting.
  • Ability to analyze a large data set and compile meaningful narratives.
  • Experience with economic software.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based databases.
  • Experience in upstream Oil and Gas.
  • Knowledge of Production forecasting.
  • Experience creating budgets and tracking KPIs and costs.
