Job Title: Senior Data Architect AWS & Big Data
Location: Knoxville, TN or Atlanta, GA (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time / C2C
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team. This role requires a strong background in designing and implementing scalable data solutions using a combination of Big Data, Machine Learning, and traditional database platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the AWS technology stack, Databricks, and Snowflake, as well as a solid understanding of digital marketing and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and develop large-scale, high-performance data solutions for business intelligence, analytics, and data science.
Leverage AWS services including Redshift, Lambda, EC2, Glue, S3, EMR, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, and RDS to build robust data pipelines and storage solutions.
Build and optimize data platforms using Databricks and Snowflake for large-scale processing and analytics.
Work with various NoSQL and SQL databases including DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven marketing strategies and customer insights.
Contribute to the development and deployment of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), if applicable.
Apply strong analytical skills to extract insights from complex data sets and improve business performance.
Ensure data architecture aligns with industry best practices and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or related roles.
Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services (Redshift, Lambda, EC2, Glue, S3, EMR, Kinesis, RDS, SNS, SQS).
Proficient in Databricks and Snowflake environments.
Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
Experience with Big Data tools and frameworks, including data lake and data warehouse solutions.
Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) is a plus.
Strong background in Digital Marketing analytics and customer data strategy.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Work Environment:
Hybrid role: 3 days per week onsite in either Knoxville, TN or Atlanta, GA.
Collaborative and innovative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics).
Experience with Python, Spark, or other data engineering languages/frameworks.
Background in marketing tech stack integrations (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
