Amentum is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in developing Azure DevOps pipelines in support of the warfighter. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in YAML pipeline definitions, PowerShell scripting, and version number management. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing the software supply chain to ensure efficient and secure delivery of our software products.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Develop and manage YAML pipeline definitions and PowerShell scripts to automate build, release, and deployment processes.
- Oversee version number management for software releases and ensure compliance with versioning standards.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the software delivery process.
- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement and manage software supply chain security practices to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest DevSecOps trends and technologies to continuously improve the DevSecOps processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
- Must have an active U.S. government Secret clearance. Note: ship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience developing Azure DevOps pipelines, including YAML pipeline definitions and PowerShell scripting.
- At least 2 years of experience in software supply chain management and related security practices.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Local candidates preferred.
- Current Security+ CE certification (required within 6 months of hire date)
- Relevant certifications in DevSecOps practices or Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with a distributed version control system, such as GIT.
- Experience with client-side development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with ASP.NET (using C#).
- Experiencing developing Unit Tests such as MSTets, xUnit, or nUnit.
- Experience with using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience working in Agile teams such as scrum.
