Description

We are looking for an experienced Applications Architect to join our team in Palo Alto, California. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions while ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate across teams, drive technology innovation, and contribute to scalable systems architecture.

Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce solution design standards and integration guardrails, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and technical frameworks.
Lead technology evaluations and design solutions across domains such as invoice automation, workflows, and enterprise system deployments.
Drive the deployment and scaling of systems including SAP S/4HANA, Palantir Foundry, and other enterprise data visualization tools.
Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using Python, RESTful APIs, and BI platforms.
Define architectural standards for enterprise platforms and oversee their integration with cloud technologies.
Assess security, compliance, and governance risks during solution architecture planning and implementation.
Provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring the adoption of best practices across teams.
Facilitate alignment between stakeholders by communicating technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning tools, to enhance system capabilities.
Contribute to strategic roadmaps that align technology solutions with organizational goals.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience in solution and systems architecture, with a strong focus on cloud, AI, or digital transformation projects.
Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA, Palantir Foundry, CI/CD processes, and scripting languages such as Python.
Hands-on experience with data architecture, including NoSQL databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL, as well as Terraform.
Solid understanding of application development frameworks such as ASP.NET and .NET.
Demonstrated ability to design scalable technical solutions that meet business needs and address compliance requirements.
Proficiency in API development and AWS technologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and drive project success.
Working knowledge of emerging technologies like AI, machine learning tools, and cloud integration.
