Job Details

Job Title: Sitecore Architect
Job Location: Pennsylvania(Onsite from Day 1)
Job Type: Contract

Qualification and Experience

  1. 15 or more years of industry experience developing web-based applications using ASP.NET/C# with MVC methodologies. 5+ year as a Sitecore Architect.
  2. Expert in architecting Sitecore application in Container.
  3. Led at least two large-scale Sitecore implementations taking advantage of advanced facets of the platform such as SolrCloud, xDB, SXA, JSS, Docker container.
  4. Understands the use of Sitecore CMS and use of Experience Editor, page/data template, content types, workflow, content authoring/approval process and content governance best practices.
  5. Experiencing implement and maintaining a true multi-tenant Sitecore instance.
  6. Experience working with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) and Sitecore PowerShell Extensions (SPE).
  7. Experience working with Sitecore development tools such as Unicorn, TDS, GlassMapper, SIM (Sitecore Instance Manager), Sitecore Rocks, and others.
  8. Experience of working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and DevOps.
  9. Intermediate-level experience in SQL Server.
  10. Expert in working in Cloud environment (AWS / Azure) with automated deployment.
  11. Expert in web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance and optimization techniques.
  12. Experience in responsive development especially in HTML5 and other digital functionality associated with web and mobile development.
  13. Experience developing applications for mobile platforms is highly desirable.
  14. Experience in website integration with Social media is added advantage.
  15. Experience in migration of lower version of Sitecore / Drupal/WordPress to Sitecore 10.x.
  16. Experience in architecture and development of enterprise level CMS application with seamless cross platform customer experience.
  17. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science

Skills and Abilities

Must Have:

  1. Sitecore 10.x certified resource with experience in Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA), Sitecore Container , Sitecore PowerShell Extensions (SPE) , Unicorn, TDS, GlassMapper, SIM (Sitecore Instance Manager), Sitecore Rocks, Sitecore Analytics, Sitecore Search engine.
  2. Experience in Architecting Sitecore application using Helix principle.
  3. experience developing web-based applications using ASP.NET/C# with MVC methodologies.
  4. Expert in automated deployment using Octopus or any other tool.
  5. Expert in Git and TFS for version control.
  6. Expert in continuous integration using Azure Devops/Jenkin or any other tool.
  7. Expert in website technical design, architecture and web client-side interaction including HTTPS, cookies, session management, redirects and cross domain technologies.
  8. Experience in Domain management using AWS.
  9. Fluent in JavaScript Libraries/jQuery, SOAP, REST, RESTful integrations, AJAX, JSON, XML, C#, ASP.NET, , HTML5, , CSS, IIS Window, XML, Web Services/WCF, and related technologies
  10. Fluent in SQLServer and Windows Server
  11. Good understanding and alignment with Microsoft technologies: .NET, MVC Framework.
