Job Title: Housing Development Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Housing Development Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work closely with business departments and IT teams to guide the software development lifecycle for housing-related projects. The SME will be responsible for evaluating current business operations and processes, offering domain-specific expertise, and ensuring alignment with housing industry standards and regulations.

Scope of Services:

• Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.

• Evaluate and enhance housing development processes and operations.

• Provide ongoing domain expertise and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed housing development requirements.

• Offer insights into housing development best practices and regulatory standards.

• Facilitate workshops and meetings to align business and technical goals.

• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within housing initiatives.

• Analyze housing market trends and provide actionable insights.

• Ensure compliance with relevant housing laws and regulations.

• Prepare and maintain housing-specific documentation and process guides.

• Work with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and testers.

• Assess and communicate the social and community impact of housing projects.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• Extensive domain knowledge in housing development, including standards, policies, and practices.

• Strong experience working with business stakeholders to define and document housing requirements.

• Participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate housing-focused functionality.

• Experience providing continuous SME support across the project lifecycle (initiation through implementation).

• Proven collaboration with Business Analysts to convert business needs into technical requirements.

• Ability to identify, assess, and help mitigate risks related to housing development initiatives.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives within housing projects.

• Experience in training teams on housing development concepts and project impacts.

• Previous hands-on experience in housing development programs is highly preferred.
